Religion

The inhabitants of the province of Limburg are predominantly Catholic. But whereas almost every village has its own parish, only half of the Dutch population are actively practicing their religion.
The churches in the area of Work and Stay are almost all Catholic and have weekly services on Sunday. On holidays such as Easter, Pentecost, Ascension Day and Christmas, there are typically additional services planned.
In Meterik, Nuth and Eindhoven, services are conducted in Polish.
