Sustainability
At Work and Stay, sustainability is not just about technology, but above all about a pleasant, comfortable place for people. Our location generates approximately 200,000 kWh of solar energy annually, a valuable contribution to a future without fossil fuels.
We store the generated electricity in a battery so that we can use our own energy even in the evenings and on cloudy days. Part of our vehicle fleet runs on electricity, allowing us to operate our mobility partially emission-free.
We handle water responsibly. We infiltrate rainwater as much as possible through permeable paving and wadis. We pump drinking water from our own well, which is purified by a special installation in the Water House.
The main building is heated using electric heat pumps. The chalets are equipped with smart thermostats that automatically switch back on when no one is present, ensuring that energy consumption is never unnecessary.
This mix of solutions ensures that Work and Stay handles energy and resources responsibly, without compromising on comfort. Guests experience peace, warmth, and a sense of home here. This with the assurance that their stay contributes to a more sustainable world.
